Vienna Area Resident Discovers Would-Be Burglar Fleeing Garage: Police
Resident heard the sound of his garage door opening and went to investigate late Tuesday night, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police say a Vienna area resident was startled when he heard the garage door open at his home late Tuesday night.
Fairfax County Police say the incident took place at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Galloway Drive just off of Trap Road (see map below).
The resident went to check on the noise and found his vehicle’s door open with the keys on the driver's seat, police said. The resident then saw a dark colored two-door Jeep outside, leaving at a high rate of speed. Nothing was missing, police said.

Narcotics and paraphernalia were found on the back patio, which were possibly left by the suspects, police said.
