According to the town, the production crew filmed the episode in May 2022, interviewing Mayor Linda Colbert and Vienna residents at notable locations.
Colbert discussed Vienna's small town charm and the type of real estate it has. The mayor, whose mother, the late Jane Seeman, had served as a longtime Vienna mayor, said she grew up when Vienna had mainly single-family homes.

"Building houses in Vienna is different because you can only build on 25 percent of the land," said Colbert. "We have a lot of open space. The houses are more spread out, and it just gives a nice look and feel for the neighborhood."
Now the town has more townhouses.
"We're just trying to have different options because we want Vienna to be welcoming to everybody," said Colbert.
