Vienna Oktoberfest Promises Beer, Wine, Food And Fun For 16th Annual Event

VIENNA, VA — The Vienna Business Association is preparing for Vienna Oktoberfest, one of its biggest events of the year. Organizers say this year's festival on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. will be bigger than ever.

The festival along historic Church Street typically draws 30,000 to 35,000 attendees, according to the Vienna Business Association. It is centered around local beer and wine selections as well as vendors, a large selection of multinational food, music, entertainment and children's inflatables and activities. Admission to the festival is free, but there is a cost for purchases from vendors.

The beer and wine garden will feature selections from Caboose Brewing Company, Norm’s Beer and Wine, Settle Down Easy Brewing and Vienna Vintner. Live entertainment will be held on three stages — the Beer Garden, Town Green and Mill Street stages.

A free shuttle will be provided from the Vienna Metro North lot and James Madison High School. There will be a bike park off the Washington & Old Dominion Trail.

The event is hosted by the Vienna Business Association and the Town of Vienna. Vienna Oktoberfest proceeds benefit the VBA Foundation, which supports charities in the greater Vienna area. Volunteers are needed to help run the event.
