Oktoberfest Kicks Off October Events Around Vienna

VIENNA, VA — The warm weather is fading, the leaves are falling and Halloween is approaching. It's October in Vienna, which means there are several notable events coming up

Saturday, Oct. 4 brings Vienna Oktoberfest, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along historic Church Street. This major festival centered around local beer and wine selections also includes a large selection of multinational food, vendors, music, entertainment and children's inflatables and activities.

It is free to attend, but there is a cost from purchasing from each vendor.

If you're heading to the festival, consider using a shuttle to avoid parking challenges near the event. A free shuttle will be provided from the Vienna Metro North lot and James Madison High School. There will be a bike park off the Washington & Old Dominion Trail. There is an Uber and Lyft drop-off point at 215 Mill Street NE.
