Vienna Town Council To Gain 2 New Members, 1 Incumbent Ousted
Several incumbents and two new members were elected to Town Council, according to unofficial results shared by the town.

VIENNA, VA — Vienna Town Council will be gaining two new members in 2026 after Tuesday's elections.
Newcomers Dann Nash and Doug Francis were elected along with four incumbents —Councilmembers Jessica Ramakis, Howard Springsteen, Chuck Anderson and Roy Baldwin. Councilmember Sandra Allen was unsuccessful in her re-election bid. Councilmember Ray Brill did not run for re-election.
Voters could cast a ballot for up to six Town Council candidates. There were seven candidates for the six Town Council seats.

In addition, Mayor Linda Colbert was re-elected to another term in an uncontested race.
The new Town Council will be sworn in at 6 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2026, at Vienna Town Hall.

Jessica Ramakis 15.76% 4,541 votes
Howard Springsteen 15.27% 4,399 votes
Charles “Chuck” Anderson 15.16% 4,368 votes
Doug Francis 14.25% 4,106 votes
Roy Baldwin 13.60% 3,918 votes
Dann Nash 13.60% 3,917 votes
Sandra Allen 10.92% 3,146 votes
Write-In 1.42% 410 votes
Mayor
Linda Colbert 95.33% 6,333 votes
Write-in 4.67% 310 votes
The Fairfax County Office of Elections started tallying the write-in votes on Wednesday morning. Provisional ballots and mail-in ballots that are postmarked by Nov. 4 and received by 12
p.m. on Nov. 10 will also be counted. Certification of the election results by the electoral board is expected on Nov. 11.
All six Town Council seats and mayor were on the ballot at the same time, a change from staggered two-year terms in the past. The town also changed elections from May to November in 2023 to follow a 2021 state law requiring municipal elections during the general election. The town says Town Council seats will continue to have elections in November on a two-year cycle. The next town election will be on Nov. 2, 2027.
