Vienna Welcomes Fall with Oktoberfest Celebration
The eighth-annual town-wide event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Church Street and the Town Green.

Autumn has arrived, and that means it’s time for the town of Vienna’s eighth annual Oktoberfest celebration.
This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. along historic Church Street and the Town Green.
There will be food, refreshments, plenty of beer (for visitors 21 and older), live music, games and activities for the entire family, dance contests, sing-alongs and more.

There will be three stages set up throughout town to host live music, as well as a beer garden where traditional Oktoberfest brews will be sold and where some of the day’s activities will take place, including the ceremonial tapping of the first keg as well as a Polka contest and a Chicken Dance contest.
Kids will have the chance to explore an antique firetruck, enjoy a moon bounce, run around in the “Inflatable World of Sports,” climb a climbing wall, show off their skills at the chalk drawing station and more.

As is the case every year, the event is hosted by the Vienna Business Association, and this year’s sponsors include Whole Foods Market and Urban Mattress among a handful of local businesses.
The best part? Admission is free (although the beer is not).
