Vienna gets to keep the Mayor's Fitness Challenge trophy after topping Fairfax City and Falls Church for the most recorded fitness minutes.

VIENNA, VA — The results are in for the 2023 Mayor's Fitness Challenge, and Vienna has once again topped Fairfax and Falls Church.
The third annual Mayor's Fitness Challenge was a friendly competition between the Town of Vienna, City of Fairfax and City of Falls Church. From March 18 to May 13, registered participants were asked to log their exercise minutes to help their community win the challenge. Participants could walk, bike, hike or do any physical exercise they preferred.
Vienna won with 466,142 exercise minutes, or 7,769 hours among 195 participants between ages 8 and 88. That was nearly double the 238,437 exercise minutes recorded in last year's competition. Participants recorded activities like walking, pickleball, weightlifting, gardening, basketball and more.
