Vienna Woman Dies In Oakton 2-Vehicle Crash: Police
A passenger in a vehicle struck at an Oakton intersection died over the weekend, according to Fairfax County Police.

VIENNA, VA — A Vienna resident died in a two-vehicle crash at an Oakton intersection Saturday, according to Fairfax County Police.
The crash happened around 11:20 a.m. Saturday at Hunter Mill Road and Lynnhaven Place in Oakton. According to police, a 2001 Acura couple was heading south on Hunter Mill Road and was attempting to turn left into a shopping center on Lynnhaven Place. A 2024 Toyota Camry was heading north on Hunter Mill Road and struck the Acura in the intersection.
The passenger of the Acura was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead. The Acura driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Toyota driver and passenger were not injured.

Patch is removing the victim's name out of respect for family and friends being notified of the death.
