At the 15th annual Mayor’s Volunteer Reception, the Mayor’s Award was presented to Barbara Chaudet and Suzanne Chaudet Maloney with the Vienna Theatre Company (VTC). The award is given to individuals who have given back to the Town continuously and consistently over a number of years.

The Chaudet family founded VTC in 1974 and have helped keep the local theatre vibrant for more than four decades. “We owe it all to the Town of Vienna,” says Barbara Chaudet. “They have been supportive and gone out of the way to keep the theatre going. Volunteerism is so important – we learn a lot from it because it brings out talent that we didn’t know we had.”
