Santa Claus Is Coming To Vienna: Where To See Him

VIENNA, VA — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Vienna families. In Vienna, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Church Street Holiday Stroll

Church Street Holiday Stroll is the Town of Vienna's annual holiday kick-off. This year's event is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. along Historic Church Street. Santa will arrive on the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department's antique fire truck and help Mayor Linda Colbert light the Christmas tree. The event will have live holiday music, deals from local businesses, fire pits with marshmallow roasting, and a chance to visit sites like the Freeman Store and Museum, Little Library, Caboose, Train Station, Knights of Columbus (formerly First Baptist Church) and Vienna Presbyterian's Old Chapel. Santa will be at the Freeman Store porch for visits after the tree lighting.

Vienna Volunteer Fire Department Breakfast with Santa

Join the volunteer fire department for a breakfast and visits with Santa on Dec. 14 at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tickets are $10 or free for children 3 and under.

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department has not yet announced its schedule for Santa Runs, so stay tuned.

Donuts with Santa

This Santa event held by the town at the Vienna Community Center on Dec. 7 is sold out.

Letters to Santa

Good girls and boys can submit their letters to Santa through Nov. 26 in the Vienna Community Center lobby. The letters will go to the North Pole and get a response from Santa. Letters must be submitted by Nov. 26 to guarantee a response from Santa.
