Wolf Trap Concerts: Don't Say Goodbye to Summer Just Yet

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- If you haven't had a chance to make it out to Wolf Trap for a concert this summer, there's still time. Here's a look at the concerts you still have a chance to see at Filene Center, Wolf Trap's outdoor theater.

• Friday, Sept. 2: Disney in Concert
• Saturday, Sept. 3: I Love the 90s
• Tuesday, Sept. 6: Meghan Trainor
• Wednesday-Thursday, Sept. 7-8: Don Henley
• Friday, Sept. 9: Bryan Adams
• Saturday, Sept. 10: Leon Bridges
• Sunday, Sept. 11: "Weird" Al Yankovic

Getting to Wolf Trap: The park is located at 1551 Trap Road in the Vienna area (see map below). Filene Center is accessible by Metro and bus. Operated by Fairfax Connector, the Wolf Trap Express Shuttle offers roundtrip service from the West Falls Church Metro Station (Orange Line) to all Filene Center summer performances. Bus service begins 2 hours prior to showtime and runs every 20 minutes until the performance starts. Buses back to Metro leave Wolf Trap 20 minutes after the show or no later than 11 pm.

Dining: Bring your own picnic (or order a picnic ahead of time and pick it up at Wolf Trap) to enjoy during the show or on the grounds before the concert. There are also concession stands selling sandwiches, desserts and beverages, including beer and wine. You can also dine at Wolf Trap's restaurant, Ovations, which opens 2.5 hours before performances.
