WolfTrap Appoints New Board Of Directors

Margaret Gupta, Broderick D. Johnson, Matthew Korn, Dr. Gary D. Mather, and Fredrick D. Schaufeld were all confirmed on Feb. 9.

From The WolfTrap Foundation for Performing Arts: Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces the appointment of five new Members to its Board of Directors. The new Directors were confirmed during the Foundation’s annual meeting February 9, 2017. Joining the Board are:

  • Margaret Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Apex CoVantage, Herndon, Virginia
  • Broderick D. Johnson, Washington, DC
  • Matthew Korn, McLean, Virginia
  • Dr. Gary D. Mather, McLean, Virginia
  • Fredrick D. Schaufeld, Managing Director, SWaN & Legend Ventures, Leesburg, Virginia

The new Directors join a Board of business leaders and arts philanthropists serving under the leadership of Wolf Trap Foundation Board Chairman Daniel A. D’Aniello of The Carlyle Group. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the overall health of the nonprofit organization, providing fiduciary and business oversight to support Wolf Trap Foundation in its mission to present and create excellent and innovative performing arts experiences for the enrichment, education and enjoyment of diverse audiences.
