• After safety concerns, Warrenton to resume permit requests for Courthouse Square (fauquiernow.com) — Warrenton will once again accept permit requests for events at Courthouse Square after completing new safety measures like sidewalk upgrades, stop signs, and medians. Police Chief Timothy Carter told Town Council he believes traffic and pedestrian risks are now mitigated, meaning organized gatherings of 15 or more people can return under the town’s standard permitting rules.
