Here are the top three stories in Winchester today:
- Two Frederick County teachers were arrested for "inappropriate contact" with students. Emily Walker, a 23-year-old P.E. teacher at Frederick County Middle School in Winchester, allegedly had relations with a 12-year-old male student on multiple occasions. Matthew Geyer, a 41-year-old teacher's aide at Sherando High School, allegedly engaged in a sexual encounter with a 16-year-old male student. Walker is facing a felony charge of taking indecent liberties with a child and Geyer was charged with the delinquency of a minor. (Fox News)
- Athey Alley, from National Avenue to Kern Street, will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. starting today, Mar. 27 through Apr. 27 due to Washington Gas work.
