With games, raffles, auctions, dinner, and an open bar, the event supports the beloved local festival, but tickets must be purchased in person at the Cameron Street office in Winchester.

Jana Monaco’s advocacy, rooted in her family’s experience, helped expand Virginia’s screening panel and supports new federal moves to add more treatable rare diseases, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy, to standard newborn tests.
   

4. Golfer of the Year: Millbrook's Tyler Learn (winchesterstar.com) — Millbrook High junior golfer Tyler Learn has been honored as The Winchester Star’s Golfer of the Year after a breakout season highlighted by multiple tournament wins and steady mental growth. Guided by head coach Tim Deegan and inspired by his cancer-survivor brother and assistant coach Brendan, Learn is already focused on leading the Pioneers to regional and state berths next year.
