- Grab some BBQ for a good cause at the upcoming Watts Fundraiser, hosted on Father's Day weekend. The proceeds from the event, taking place on Jun. 17 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or until sold out, will benefit the Cooling Center. To pre-order your meal, click here. - The Northern Shenandoah Valley Master Gardener Association and Handley Regional Library System are hosting a three-day Kid Gardeners Camp at the Handley branch for children aged 6-11. - Jailynn Rivera, a high school graduate from John Handley High School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the Winchester City Sheriff's Office Foundation for her outstanding academic achievements. - Anastasia, a lovable dog, is looking for a loving family to provide her with companionship, playtime, and cuddles. She is a well-behaved and affectionate girl who gets along with everyone, but she has allergies and needs a special diet. She is also spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and around 6 years old. - The Winchester City Sheriff's Office shared that there will be a private event held in nearby Berryville this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for veterans, police, first responders, and their families.
