SNAP Applicants Asked to Submit Full Expense Proof (thewinchestergazette.com) — Winchester SNAP applicants are being urged to turn in full proof of rent, utilities, dependent care, and medical expenses so caseworkers can calculate the highest possible benefits. You can drop documents at 24 Baker Street or submit them electronically, but everything must clearly show dates, amounts, and provider details to avoid delays and ensure all eligible costs are counted.
   

2. YDC to Showcase New Esports Program at Dec. 19 Open House (thewinchestergazette.com) — A new Esports program for local youth is launching at Winchester’s Youth Development Center, with a free open house on Dec. 19 from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at 302 S. Loudoun St. Families can tour the gaming setup, meet instructors, and learn how the program uses competitive gaming to build teamwork, confidence, and problem-solving skills for Winchester-area students.
   

3. Local Event: Annual Holiday House Tour (patch.com) — Winchester residents can step inside festively decorated local homes during the Annual Holiday House Tour on Sunday, December 14, 2025, organized by the Winchester Chamber of Commerce. The event showcases creative décor, supports community spirit, and aims to “light up Winchester” for the holidays, with tickets on sale now and sponsorship from Bespoke.
   

4. City Names Custodian Schwab December Employee Awardee (thewinchestergazette.com) — Winchester has named city custodian Jonathan Schwab its December Employee of the Month, recognizing his reliability, positive attitude, and support for coworkers across municipal facilities. City officials say his mentoring of new custodians, flexibility with schedules, and pride in caring for public buildings make a noticeable difference for staff and residents alike.
