- Kyra Schultz of Winchester, a third-year museum studies student at Rochester Institute of Technology, worked on the MISHA team funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The team developed a cost-effective multispectral imaging system called MISHA, which allows for the discovery of hidden markings and text on historical artifacts. Schultz played a key role in integrating the finalized images into various platforms for museum display and found the experience of presenting at events to be enriching and inspiring. - Girl Scout Troop 14009 recently paid a visit to the Winchester Area SPCA. The troop donated supplies and gained insights into shelter operations. During the visit, they had the opportunity to write compassionate messages and enjoy playful moments with kittens in the cat room. (Winchester Area SPCA via Facebook)
