Here are the top three stories in Winchester today:
- The City of Winchester will host two public input sessions to hear community feedback on projects and needs for CDBG and HOME Grant funding. The virtual sessions will take place on May 19 and May 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at this meeting link. And there will be an in-person session on May 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rouss City Hall, located at 15 N. Cameron Street in Winchester. (Winchester City VA via Twitter)
- The second Annual Car Show will take place on May 27 in Old Town Winchester! The event will benefit the Frederick County/Winchester City Law Enforcement Foundation, which supports important programs and equipment needs of the Winchester Police Department and Frederick County Sheriff's Office. - On Friday, May 19, The Mighty Macs will play Christopher Newport at Kevin Anderson Field at Bridgeforth Stadium in Winchester for the NCAA Regional Tournament. The host Shenandoah and TCNJ will also play in the regional tournament. (Philadelphia Baseball Review)

- American Woodmark Corporation of Winchester is recalling about 235,000 Continental Cabinets and Hampton Bay Kitchen Wall Cabinets due to a safety hazard. There have been 90 reports of incidents involving the cabinets detaching from the wall, which poses an impact hazard. As of Mar. 16, no injuries have been reported. Continental Cabinets Kitchen Wall Cabinets with model numbers CBKW3018, CBKW3030, CBKW3036, CBKW3612, CBKW3630 and CBKW3636 and Hampton Bay Kitchen Wall Cabinets with model numbers KW3015, KW3018, KW3030, KW3036, KW3612, KW3630 and KW3636have all be recalled.
