  1. A 16-year-old Winchester student was arrested after making violent threats on social media. The Millbrook High School student is facing federal charges for the threats, which included a picture of a firearm. The sheriff's office said the student admitted to having a plan to commit “acts of violence.” (DC News Now)
  2. The Film Studio at Shenandoah’s Virginia Emerging Filmmakers Festival will be held on Mar. 31 and Apr. 1 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, located at 181 Kernstown Commons Boulevard in Winchester.   3. The Ladies Horticultural Luncheon will feature Miss West Virginia Elizabeth Lynch as a guest speaker on May 5 during the 96th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival.
