Here are the top three stories today in Winchester:

1. Winchester police and firefighters responded to a vehicle accident on Friday, May 19, that occurred on South Pleasant Valley Road. According to reports, a motorcycle and a second vehicle collided near Hollingsworth Drive, resulting in severe injuries to the motorcyclist, who was identified as a male. He was admitted to the ICU for emergency care. As of May 21, the incident is still under investigation. (Local Accident Reports)
2. On Saturday, May 20, Shenandoah University had its commencement ceremony for its graduating class. Four huge video screens live-streamed the event as more than 1,000 graduates accepted degrees in subjects ranging from biology to virtual reality design. Of the 127 local graduates, 66 are from Winchester. (Subscription: Winchester Star)
