12-Year-Old Charged After Domestic Knife Attack In Woodbridge

Prince William County Police believe a 12-year-old injured two relatives during a domestic argument in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 12-year-old girl has been charged in a domestic-related stabbing in Woodbridge Saturday, according to Prince William County Police.

Officers had responded to a domestic dispute at The Landings at Markham Grant Apartments in the 15700 block of Tassleford Lane in Woodbridge around 6:59 p.m. Saturday. Police say a 61-year-old man and the 12-year-old girl were in a verbal argument that escalated. During the argument, the girl got a knife. A 19-year-old relative that tried to intervene in the fight was cut. Police say the girl cut the 61-year-old man was well before both were separated from the fight.

The two men were treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. She was being held at the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center.
