WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 27-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash while walking in Woodbridge, according to police. Officers responded around 11:30 p.m. Saturday to Minnieville Road and Bobcat Court to investigate an unconscious woman on the road, later identified as Carla Andrea Mejia, of Woodbridge, police said. Mejia was wearing all dark clothing and walking in the westbound lane of Minnieville Road when she was hit by a vehicle that was believed to be a Hyundai and that did not stop, according to police. Mejia was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Anyone who saw the crash is asked to contact police, according to authorities.
