6-Year-Old Girl Inappropriately Touched In Woodbridge Store, Police Make Arrest
Prince William County Police have charged a man they say sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A sexual assault of a 6-year-old girl at a Woodbridge store Saturday has led to an arrest and charge for a man, Prince William County Police say.
Around 11:50 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the sexual assault report at the Sams Club located at 14050 Worth Ave in Woodbridge. The 6-year-old girl was shopping with her family when an unknown man approached. Police say the man inappropriately touched her when the mother was turned away.
The mother confronted the man, who left the store and fled in a vehicle. Police obtained a license plate number and found the suspect at his home.

Justin Van Nguyen, 21, of Woodbridge, was charged with aggravated sexual battery. He was held on an unsecured bond.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm: On July 11 at 3:09PM, officers responded to the County Center Crossing Apartment located in the 13000 block of Patamon Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a reckless handling. The investigation revealed multiple gunshots were heard in the area. No injuries or property damage were reported. Officers located shell casings on the third and fourth floor of the complex. No suspect description was provided.
Residential Burglary: On July 13 at 10:44PM, officers responded to investigate a burglary that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 1600 block of Pinewood Ct in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed the homeowner was gardening in their yard when they were approached by an unknown woman. During the encounter, a second woman approached, possibly entering the unsecured home. Later, the homeowner found multiple drawers had been rummaged through. No property was reported missing. Both women were described as Middle Eastern wearing long dresses and were last seen getting into a newer model SUV being driven by an unknown individual, possibly a male.
Residential Burglary: On July 11 at 6:30PM responded to investigate a burglary that was reported to have occurred at the County Center Crossing Apartment located in the 13000 block of Patamon Way in Woodbridge (22192) between July 7 and July 11. The investigation revealed during this timeframe, entry was made into an apartment through the front door. Two firearms were reported missing. No suspect description was provided.
