Shooting Follows Online Sale Meetup At Dumfries Shopping Center: Police
Police say a victim selling clothes at a meetup faced gunshots from a group in another vehicle.

DUMFRIES, VA — A meetup sale at a shopping center in Dumfries escalated into a shooting Saturday evening, according to Prince William County Police.
Around 4:26 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the robbery at the Dumfries Shopping Center in the 18000 block of Dumfries Shopping Plaza. Police say a 21-year-old man arranged to sell clothing through the “Offer Up” app at the shopping center. The victim met with two men who were accompanied by two men.
During the meeting, police say a man grabbed the clothing from the victim's car. When the group drove off, one suspect fired a gun toward the victim's vehicle. The gunshots went through the back glass and struck the front console of the victim's car. There were no reported injuries.

The suspects were described as Black men in their late teens to early 20s and around 6 foot tall.
