ABC stores in the Woodbridge and Prince William County area will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays starting July 1. The <a href="http://www.abc.virginia.gov/newsrel/factsheet.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Virginia General Assembly this past session approved</a> a law that allowed the remaining 206 ABC stores that hadn't already been allowed to open on Sundays to begin doing so on July 1. The only stores that won't be able to open are those in localities that have local ordinances prohibiting Sunday sales of alcohol. Prince William County does not have such local ordinances.
