Virginia Amber Alert Canceled After Teen Found Safe In Woodbridge
The girl was found safe in the Woodbridge area, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — An Amber Alert activated by the Virginia State Police for a teen who was likely abducted in Woodbridge has been canceled after both the girl and the suspect were found, police said. The teen was found safe and state police say the suspect is in custody.
The girl, Sinahi Aguilar Cruz, was last seen in the 14000 block of Danville Road in Woodbridge. (For updates on this story and more Woodbridge news, subscribe to the Woodbridge Patch for real time breaking news alert and newsletters.)
Police say she was likely abducted by 21-year-old Roberto Medrano Segovia. PWC police say they responded to the 14000 block of Danville Road around 1:43 a.m. for a possible abduction. Aguilar-Cruz was attending a party at a home in the area with a man, police said.

"During the gathering, the two parties got into a verbal altercation and separated," police said in a statement. "At one point, the female exited the home where witnesses observed her being forcibly placed in a vehicle by the male acquaintance. The vehicle was described as a dark color Honda Civic, possible a hatchback."
Police had said the teen was believed to be in extreme danger. The investigation is ongoing.
