Gar-Field Senior High School Robotics Varsity FTC Team 33 are very excited and proud to announce that along with alliance captain Team 369 Cougar Robotics from Oakton HS, and Team 339 Forge Robotics from Colonial Forge HS, were the Winning Alliance for Virginia State Championships held at the University of Virginia University Hall on Saturday, February 12.
In addition to be part of the Winning Alliance, the team also took home the "Think Award," given by the judges to the team "that best reflects the journey the team took as they experienced the engineering design process during the build season. The Engineering Notebook is the key reference for judges to help identify the most deserving team. Judges will be most interested in notebook entries describing the steps, brainstorms, designs, re-designs, successes, and those interesting moments when things weren't going as planned."
