Mark Your Calendars: Town Hall Meeting on Commuter Spots

County Supervisors Frank Principi (Woodbridge) and Mike May (Occoquan) will be holding a town hall meeting on the upcoming reduction of commuter spaces on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the A.J. Ferlazzo building auditorium.

Principi said that the forum will be an opportunity for commuters to learn about different options for parking in the area and what solutions the county is entertaining to help compensate for the reduction in spots.

The reduction of 750 parking spots from the Potomac Mills commuter lot has some commuters up in arms about what the next step will be come Feb. 14. with residents and said that a county inventory has found 1,000 unused spots at other lots throughout the county.
