he Youth Orchestras of Prince William (YOPW) will be performing on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Gar-Field High School, 14000 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, VA. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring food items, which will be collected and brought to the ACTS food pantry in Dumfries, VA, as part of the Orchestras Feeding America program sponsored by the League of American Orchestras.
YOPW consists of six ensembles, ranging from a beginner level strings orchestra to a full symphonic orchestra. The Preparatory, Primo, Repertory orchestras and the Wind Symphony will be performing at this concert on February 13, 2011. Tickets cost $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students.
