April County Clean Ups

Where to lend a hand in the community.

Help clean the community through Prince William County Public Works Department's county cleanups.

The last two are:

  • Island HOA Clean Up in Montclair - Saturday, April 23, 2011. Dumpsters will be located on Timber Ridge Drive, catty-corner to the Island HOA sign from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • “The Lindendale Clean Sweep” - Saturday, April 30, 2011. Dumpsters will be located in the parking lot of the Enterprise Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Each year, the County sponsors clean ups from April through October. The County Clean Ups provide an opportunity to clean up properties with potential code violations and discard items that are creating storage problems. Residents are invited to clean up their yards, homes, streets, common areas, parks and streams. Volunteer neighbors will be available to assist families move items and debris from vehicles into the open-top containers. The Clean Ups are intended for residential use only. The County will accept old furniture, small appliances or large items that can’t go in normal trash cans. Liquids and commercial waste cannot be accepted at the County Clean Up, but disposal information is available at 703-792-5750.
