ICE OUT FOR GOOD Rally with Woodbridge Unite

Sunday Jan 11, from 1-2:30 pm

Intersection Prince William Parkway & Smoketown Road (Noodles & Co.)

ICE OUT FOR GOOD is part of a national weekend of outrage and protest against the increasing violence being perpetrated by ICE and other federal immigration agencies. This movement is timed in response to the recent news: on Wednesday Jan 7, American citizen Renee Nicole Good was murdered by an ICE agent in Minneapolis — the latest of three people killed by ICE agents — then on Thursday two more people were shot in Portland by a US border patrol agent. This is in addition to the 30+ others who have died in detention.

Across the country, we are standing up to say “no more” to this escalating pattern of savagery being implemented, with impunity, by federally-funded agencies.

You are encouraged to bring a sign, if you wish – although your participation is more important than whether you have a sign. If standing is a challenge, feel free to bring a chair.

Please bundle up, dressing in layers and giving special attention to your hands and feet. (Your hands can’t remain in your pockets while holding a sign.) We will meet regardless of the temperature.

A core principle behind all ICE OUT FOR GOOD events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. Thank you.
