County Residents No Longer Need to Boil Water
The Prince William County Service Authority said this morning that residents no longer need to boil tap water after the flood.

County residents no longer need to boil tap water before use, according to the Prince William County Service Authority.
The Service Authority issued the boil water notice on Sept. 9 after severe flooding in the Marumsco Creek area damaged a water main and lowered the water pressure.
After Service Authority crews fixed the damaged pipe, staff sampled the water in the area and determined, after repeated samplings, that the water was once again safe to drink.
