Le-Ha Anderson with Dominion Virginia Power said because of the initial crash, 3,330 customers were without power.
"We were able to restore power to all but 1,600 within a few minutes with some safety devices we have on the line," said Anderson in an email. "In a few moments, we hope to have all the customers, with the exception of a strip mall near that intersection, back on."

Dominion Virginia Power crews will be working on repairing the broken pole while Prince William County Police divert traffic in the area.

Prince William County Police have closed Horner Road in both directions near Rawls Street for a single vehicle crash.
The department posted an update on its Facebook page that a single vehicle hit a pole and power wires are down.
Dominion Virginia Power's outage map shows 1,696 in the Horner Road area are without power.
Drives are advised to use caution and find another route around the crash. Power crews and police estimate a four to five hour time frame for clean up and wire repair.
