WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man died Thursday after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday at the intersection of Opitz Boulevard and River Walk Way, according to Prince William County Police. Donald Lee Sellman, 87, of Woodbridge, was taken to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Shortly after noon, police went to the scene for a reported crash. They found that the driver of a 2008 Toyota Camry—a 25-year-old Woodbrige woman—was trying to make a left turn onto southbound River Walk Way. She was then hit by a 2016 Hyundai Genesis—driven by Sellman—headed east on Opitz Boulevard.
The woman also was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police say speed, alcohol and drug use are not factors in the crash.
