Crumbl Cookies Hopes To Connect Community Members In Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A new Crumbl Cookies location is now open in Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. The franchisees, Cory and Joanna Ellis, spoke with Patch about what inspired them to bring Crumbl's sweet treats to Woodbridge.

The facility, located at 14900 Potomac Town Place Suite 115, opened its doors for the first time on Sept. 1. Now, customers can get their cookie fix from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The store is closed on Sundays.

The Woodbridge location is the fourth Crumbl franchise for the Ellises.

"We wanted to help provide job opportunities for youth and young adults in the area. It’s also important for us to bring people together for an uplifting and positive work environment," the Ellises said. "If we can do that while providing the community with a delicious treat, it’s a great combination!"

The Ellises have been baking Crumbl cookies for more than 2 years now. They said they're excited to finally welcome customers after dealing with "bumps" in the construction process.

"We chose the Stonebridge shopping area because we feel like the sense of community and entertainment value that is provided is a perfect location for customers coming to enjoy boxes of cookies with their families," the Ellises said. "We love the vibe we feel at Stonebridge and know that Crumbl will not only be an asset to this area, but the area will be a fun one for our team as well."

Crumbl operates hundreds of locations throughout the United States, including locations in nearby Fredericksburg, Ashburn, and Bristow. The brand began in Utah in 2017 and quickly spread.

"We hope that our customers will not only take cookies home with them, but that they will also take with them a sense of connection and a desire to share these baked treats with those they care about," the Ellises said. "The cookies are great, but sharing them with people you love is the very best part."
