A 17-year-old Woodbridge male called police after a neighbor allegedly showed a handgun after a verbal altercation. The teen told police that he had a verbal alercation with John George Held, 64, of Dale City after he had photographed Held walking his dog, Prince William County police said. "During the altercation the accused showed a handgun," said police spokeswoman Ericca Figueroa in a release about the incident. "The victim returned to his residence and contacted police. Police arrived on scene and the accused was arrested without incident."  Held is charged with brandishing a firearm.
