Felon Sought For Pistol-Whipping Man In Woodbridge: Police
Authorities are looking for a convicted felon who pistol-whipped another man at a home in Woodbridge, say Prince William County Police.

DUMFRIES, VA—Authorities are looking for a convicted felon who pistol-whipped another man early Tuesday at a home in the 17300 block of Mine Road, according to Prince William County Police. Jesse Lee Lotharp, 37, of the 800 block of Southern Avenue SE in Washington, D.C., is wanted for malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., police went to the aforementioned residence for a reported assault. They found that the victim, a 31-year-old man, had been arguing with a 38-year-old woman. Lotharp—who knows the woman—was told about the argument and went to the home, where he was let in by another resident.
He then kicked in the victim's bedroom door, threatened him with a gun and the pistol-whipped him before fleeing in his vehicle. Minor injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
