Dumfries Father With 1 On Way Killed, Fundraiser Created

A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family of Ryan Easterly, 28, of Dumfries, who was killed in a traffic accident Wednesday morning.

DUMFRIES, VA—A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family of Ryan Easterly, 28, of Dumfries, who was killed in a traffic accident Wednesday morning in Fairfax Station.

Here's the message on the GoFundMe page:

"Ryan Easterly was taken too soon from us in a car accident on the morning of December 26th. Ryan leaves behind his wife, Madelyn, 2.5 year old son Nixon, and Baby Easterly due in March, as well as his parents, siblings, and many other family members. We want to raise money to help Madelyn and their family any way we can with whatever they may need during this heartbreaking time. Please consider donating to help out our sweet friends."

Easterly was killed Wednesday morning when his vehicle slammed into the back of a dump truck on Ox Road near the Fairfax County Parkway, according to Fairfax County Police. He was taken to a nearby hospital but died shortly thereafter.
