Hit-And-Run Leads To Indecent Exposure In Woodbridge: Police Report

Police say the indecent exposure happened after a woman confronted the striking vehicle about a hit-and-run on her vehicle.

DALE CITY, VA — A hit-and-run of a parked vehicle led to an indecent exposure Saturday, according to the latest Prince William County Police report.

Police had responded to a hit-and-run around 9:35 p.m. Saturday to the 13700 block of Meadowbrook Road. A 25-year-old woman had been attending a gathering and heard her vehicle got hit, police say. The striking vehicle, described as a silver Toyota, was seen leaving the area. The woman followed the striking vehicle to the area of Dale Boulevard and Hillendale Road.

A confrontation ensued, and police say a passenger in the striking vehicle exposed himself to the victim and claimed to have a gun. A passerby intervened, and the group separated. A gun was not shown during the confrontation.

The woman returned to the original location and contacted police. Police have not located the suspect vehicle.

Armed Robbery Arrest: On October 11, the male suspect involved in the robbery that was reported to have occurred at the Nordstrom Rack inside Potomac Mills located at 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) on October 8, was arrested. The suspect, identified as John Jeremiah Bailey, was observed by officers walking in the 2400 block of Prince William Pkwy where he was detained without incident. The investigation continues as officers attempt to identify the female party involved.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On October 9 at 2:39PM, officers responded to investigate
a robbery that was reported to have occurred at the Nordstrom Rack inside Potomac Mills located
at 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) on October 8. The investigation revealed a store employee observed an unknown man and woman conceal merchandise before leaving the store. When an employee confronted the male suspect outside of the store, the suspect implied he had a weapon before both suspects left the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

Aggravated Assault: On October 11 at 9:07AM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred in the area of Antietam Rd and Seminole Rd in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning around 7 a.m. The investigation revealed the victim, a 29-year-old man, was approached at his vehicle by an unknown man who asked for money. During the encounter, the man displayed an unknown object and cut the victim in the arm before leaving. No property was taken. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury. The suspect was described as an older black male, 6’3”, 190lbs with an unshaven face wearing a dark-colored clothing including a beanie cap, sneakers, and trench coat, and gray jeans.

Assault & Battery | Possible Hate Bias: On September 27 at 6:09PM, officers responded to the 1200 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 25-year old man, was approached by three juvenile males while walking in the area. During the encounter, the juveniles made offensive and derogatory remarks towards the victim. At one point, one of the juveniles pulled out a gel-ball gun and shot the victim in the arm twice before leaving the area. Minor injuries were reported. The juvenile displaying the gel-ball gun was described as a black male with dreadlocks wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.

Suspicious Person | Incident: On October 11 at 5:25PM, officers responded to investigate a suspicious incident that reportedly occurred in the 14200 block of Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning around 7:00AM. The investigation revealed a 17-year-old female juvenile was approached by an unknown man approximately three times over the preceding week and a half in the mornings while walking to school. The juvenile typically encountered the man near the Prince William Square Shopping Center. During the encounter, the man would make statements prompting concern. No physical contact was reported in any of the encounters. The incidents were recently disclosed prompting police to be notified. The individual was described as a black male, bald, 5’3”, with a small build, clean-shaven face, and spoke with an accent.
