ICE Agent Impersonation Suspect Wanted In Dale City: Police

Prince William County Police are investigating a report of a man impersonating an ICE agent.

DALE CITY, VA — A man pretended to be an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent at a Dale City apartment complex Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police.

Around 4:29 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the law enforcement impersonating incident at Glen Ridge Commons Apartments in the 12800 block of Island House Loop. The impersonator had showed up at an apartment around 1 p.m. Wednesday and aggressively banged on the door, police say. The man reportedly identified himself as an ICE agent to the resident through the door. The resident did not open the door, and the man left the area.

Police contacted ICE, which confirmed that the man was not an ICE agent.
