Infant Thrown To Ground During Montclair Dispute: Police

MONTCLAIR, VA — An infant was thrown to the ground during a dispute in Montclair Saturday, according to Prince William County Police.

Around 3:13 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the Oasis at Montclair Apartments in the 4000 block of Middleton Loop for a domestic dispute. Police say the suspect was holding an infant during a verbal argument with another relative. During the argument, police say the suspect threw the baby to the ground. The parties ultimately separated, and police were notified.

The infant was treated on the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, Jakea Nyeer Adaun Woodley, was charged with felony child neglect and was held on a $2,500 secured bond.

Possession with Intent to Distribute: On January 31 at 8:06AM, the School Resource Officer (SRO)
assigned to Freedom High School located at 15201 Neabsco Mills Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) was notified of a student who was found in possession of vape pens containing suspected THC on school grounds. The investigation revealed the student, identified as the accused, was observed by school staff attempting to enter the school via a side door. The accused was brought to the security office where the devices were discovered. The SRO was present and determined the student brought the vape pens to school for the purpose of distributing them to other students. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile, was charged.

Malicious Wounding: On February 1 at 3:26PM, officers responded to the 1800 block of Horner Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, arranged to sell THC vape pens via Instagram to an acquaintance, identified as the accused. Before the sale was completed, the accused produced a knife, and a struggle ensued. The victim was cut before the parties separated. The victim flagged down a passing motorist who contacted police. Officers located the accused nearby where he was detained without incident. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile, was arrested.

Commercial Burglary: On February 1 at 8:45AM, officers responded to Game Stop located at 14070
Shoppers Best Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed forced entry was made into the business around 1:53AM. Cameras showed a masked individual wearing dark-colored clothing smash out the front glass door. Video game systems and accessories were reported missing.

Malicious Wounding: On February 2 at 5:54AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of Maryland Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the accused struck the victim, a 22-year-old woman, with a glass bottle during a verbal altercation with other individuals. The parties were separated, and the police were contacted. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Roberto Alexander Reyes Garcia, was arrested.
