Selfless Wedding Gift: PWC Father Gifts $1 Million Ticket To Son
A father who won a $1 million ticket decided to give it to his son as a wedding gift.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Since Aaron Andrews got married in April, he and his wife have lived in his father's basement in Prince William County. That changed after a father gifted his winning $1 million lottery ticket.
Andrews's father won the Cash4Life drawing, which was either $1,000 every week for life or a one-time $1 million prize. But instead of choosing a prize, he gave the winning ticket to his won as a wedding present.
"This was the best way to get him out of my basement," his father joked.

The winning ticket came from PJ’s Neighborhood Variety Store at 19122-A Fuller Heights Road in Triangle. Andrews's father won by matching the first five numbers in the Aug. 3 drawing using Easy Pick randomly-generated numbers. The winning numbers were 25-35-36-41-59, and the Cash Ball number was 2.
Cash4Life drawings are held nightly at 9 p.m. Each play costs $2. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 21.8 million.
