Man Run Over With Car While Intervening In Robbery: Police
A man tried to step in when a group tried to rob an acquaintance. Police say a vehicle then ran over the man.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A vehicle ran over a man who was intervening in a robbery in Woodbridge Monday morning, according to Prince William County Police.
Around 5:23 a.m. Monday, officers responded to the 2000 block of Daniel Stuart Square for an assault. According to police, a 26-year-old man saw multiple unknown men approach a female acquaintance and demand her property. The man tried to intervene, but the suspects assaulted him, showed a gun and took his property. After that, a vehicle drove toward the group and ran over the man, who was on the ground.
The vehicle stopped, and the suspects got in and fled.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are working to identify the suspects. One suspect was described as a white man with blonde hair, a mustache and a tribal tattoo on the left side of his face. He was wearing a black fitted cap, a white t-shirt, blue sweatpants and all-white Jordan sneakers.

Another suspect was described as a Hispanic man who is bald with a goatee and multiple face tattoos. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, light blue shorts and Adidas tennis shoes.
The third suspect was described as a Black man with a tattoo on his left hand and wearing a ski mask, glasses, a gray sweat shirt and purple pants
The striking vehicle was described as a Toyota Camry with tinted windows.
