UPDATE: Man Shot in Woodbridge Home Invasion, Police Still Investigating

Update March 28:
Police have ruled the shooting on Saturday morning as a home invasion. Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that the victim, a 37-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was asleep in the basement of the residence when he heard a loud bang.
Two unknown men had kicked in his bedroom door where one of the men pointed a handgun at the victim and fired. The men then fled the house in an unknown direction.

Police were called to the 14200 block of Mount Pleasant Drive near Marumsco Acres Lake just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning for a shooting.
Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that the victim, an adult male, sustained a gun shot to the upper body. Perok said the victim was flown out because of the injury – which did not appear to be life-threatening.
Perok also said that the incident does not appear to be a random act; but no suspect descriptions are available.
