March 14.Evidence presented at the trial suggests Muhammad met a 16-year-old runaway online in February 2014 and began communicating with her via text message. Muhammad later met the girl in Maryland and posted an advertisement on backpage.com advertising her for prostitution. In March, Muhammad drove the girl from Maryland to a Holiday Inn in Fredericksburg, where he created a second advertisement for the girl for prostitution. A <a href="http://www.ice.gov/news/releases/1406/140625richmond.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Stafford County sheriff's deputy discovered the prostitution ad</a> and arranged to meet the girl, later discovering she was a 16-year-old runaway.
