Well, here's your chance for either option—or both—from Feb. 14-17. It's the "My Furry Valentine" <a href="http://www.pwcgov.org/government/dept/police/Pages/NR020519.aspx" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">pet adoption</a> event, put on by the Prince William Humane Society. All adoptable pets at the Prince William County Animal Shelter (14807 Bristow Road, Manassas) and the Humane Society's Adopt Shop (17983 Dumfries Shopping Plaza, Dumfries) will be available at discounted prices. Included will be a "goody bag" for each dog or cat that gets adopted. Goodies, in this case, refer a free follow-up exam from Minnieville Animal Hospital, one month of flea/tick application, a toy and treats.
