NoVA Roofing Company Marks 60 Years With Free Roof Giveaway

VIRGINIA — As Northern Virginia-based Pond Roofing Company celebrates its 60th anniversary, it is searching for a resident or family to get a roof replacement.

Pond Roofing Company, which serves Fairfax County and other Northern Virginia communities, is hosting a 60th anniversary roof giveaway. The business is seeking nominations for a resident or family "facing challenging times" and needing their single-family home or townhouse roof replaced. The nomination period was extended from Aug. 31 and is now open through Sept. 15.

"As we celebrate our 60th year of service, there is no better way to express our gratitude than by giving back to the community that has supported us throughout this incredible journey," Pond Roofing Company's president Patrick Readyhough shared in a letter to customers. "We encourage you to share this announcement with friends, family, and neighbors to help us reach those who may benefit from this opportunity."

Nominees must live in Pond Roofing's Northern Virginia service area and have a single-family home or townhouse. To nominate a person or family, Pond Roofing Company wants to know the nominee's "story of resilience, hardship, or need and why you think they are the perfect recipient for a new roof."

The contest winner will be chosen in early October, and installation will follow at a later time.

Communities served by Pond Roofing Company include Aldie, Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Ashburn, Burke, Centreville, Chantilly, Clifton, Dale City, Dumfries, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Falls Church, Gainesville, Great Falls, Herndon, Lake Ridge, Leesburg, Lorton, Manassas, McLean, Middleburg, Oak Hill, Oakton, Occoquan, Potomac Falls, Reston, South Riding, Springfield, Sterling, Vienna and Woodbridge.
