Patient Assaults Three Officers With Urine In Woodbridge: Police

A man in police custody at an area hospital was arrested after throwing a cup of urine at three officers in Woodbridge, say PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man in police custody at an area hospital was arrested Sunday after throwing a cup of urine at three officers and then further assaulting them, according to Prince William County Police. Van Sor, 37, of the 3900 block of Cressida Place in Woodbridge, was charged with five counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer.

Around 7:45 p.m., officers were in Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center at 2300 Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge waiting to take Sor to another medical facility. He had been detained on court-issued paperwork related to his mental health. But before the transport, he thew a cup of urine at them, and then kicked one officer in the chest and punched another officer's arm.

He eventually was restrained without further incident and taken to a separate facility for further treatment.
