Pet of the Week: Adopt Imara

See one of the great animals available at the Prince William County Animal Shelter. Plus, more shelter info.

Each week, Prince William County Animal Shelter spotlights an animal ready for adoption.

Imara is an 8-year-old Old English Sheepdog. She is calm, cuddly and relaxed.

"After a day at the spa, she decided to go with a summer haircut for now - but don't worry, that glorious coat will be back and better than ever," the shelter writes on its Facebook page.

More: "This mellow lady doesn't seem to know basic commands, so some obedience training would be fun for both of you. Imara will need regular grooming and daily brushing to keep her looking and feeling her best. Mainly, though, Imara just wants a loving home and family she can be with forever."
